1. Camden LGBT Forum / Camden and Islington LGBT History Month 2019
Camden LGBT Forum is an independent registered charity supporting victims of hate crime and celebrating local talent. We have projects to get local LGBT people back into work, run a group to get young people speaking in public and operate a safe havens scheme for victims of abuse. We have run a History Month locally for 8 years and this is the fourth in partnership with Islington Council. It is created from the inspiration of the national LGBT History Month campaign and is widely regarded as one of the world's most successful local LGBT events. The London Boroughs of Camden and Islington are to host the world's largest program for LGBT History Month throughout February 2014. The program is put together by Camden LGBT Forum with the support of Camden and Islington Councils and a team of highly dedicated volunteers. This month is about celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans histories. The theme is music but events cross genres of film, poetry, science, biography and art.
The program has more than 50 events and most of them are free to attend. Highlights will include our Loudest Whispers VI, one of the largest outsider art projects in the UK featuring over 30 new and local LGBT artists. We will be entertained through films about our queer music heritage at the British Museum and we will explore old and new with a concert by Transpose featuring music by Tchaikovsky, a gay man whose heritage is being washed out by powerful figures in Russia. In Islington we will host events dedicated to the life of Magnus Hirschfeld, one of our movement's founding fathers, and enjoy a discussion on music criticism with one of the world's top critics, Professor Bryce Morrison. And don't forget our closing night extravaganza, 'The Glamour Factory' at the Camden Centre on the 28th.

3. Blackdown Social Group
The Blackdown Social Group is a social group for gay men in Devon, South & West Somerset and West Dorset. We usually meet for a drink and a chat on the first Saturday of each month in different parts of the area and from time to time members organise other activities such as walking, dining or cinema visits.
The group has some 70 members at present, covering a wide age range. Although we started in the Blackdown Hills area of East Devon and South Somerset, there are now members from a much wider area, from Torbay and Exeter in the west to Lyme Regis and Bridgewater in the east.

4. Brighton Gay Men's Chorus
Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus is a space where people can celebrate music, celebrate their sexuality, enjoy the fellowship of other like-minded people and contribute to the local communities which we are part of. The Old Market, 2009The Chorus is a registered charity with three guiding principles, our “three S’s”: Singing, the celebration of life and music through male voice harmonies; Socialising, using this activity to develop social bonds that help people to feel connected with a sometimes lonely world; and Support, to be there for each other – both collectively and individually – when the chips are down, and to be there for the communities in which the chorus operates, too.
